Boston Day 2

On the second day in Boston we decided to walk down to China Town. It was threatening rain all morning. On our way we passed the opera house which was under construction, but was pretty cool non-the-less.

China town was actually a little of a let down, it was pretty dirty and it was super busy, there were people everywhere. We were trying to find a place to eat and we went into a really busy restaurant thinking that if alot of people were eating there it must be good right? Well, it was weird. We sat there looking at buffet tables full of things I have NEVER seen before in a place that is meant for eating and then our waitress never came and we didn't know if we were supposed to serve ourselves or wait and everyone was speaking different languages. So in the end we decided to try and find somewhere else to eat. We ended up finding this SUPER delicious place that was like a hole in the wall and as soon as we went in to eat it started pouring rain. After all that we had to run back to our hotel and we just relaxed for the rest of the day.On our way out of our hotel we saw these ducks trying to hide from the rain and cold in a planter, they were pretty cute.
Later that night we went to eat at the Cheers pub. Cheers the tv show, was based on a pub that was found in Boston. It was pretty cool until it started to pour on us and we were sitting in a porch-like outside seating area and our food got soaked! Still good food though!
After dinner we went up to the observation deck of our hotel (26 floors up) and took some fun pictures. The Marriott Custom House was the first sky scraper in Boston, pretty cool!
