I've decided to post our trip to Boston day by day so it is not such an overwhelming endeavor. Our vacation officially started on Friday may 29th, but we just ended up traveling the whole day, seriously the whole day, we left for the airport at 8am and after a 3 hour flight to Houston TX and a 2 hour layover followed by another 3 hour and 50 min. flight we arrived in Boston at 11:39pm eastern time. So needless to say we grabbed our bags hailed a taxi and tried to explain to our taxi driver where our hotel was.
Of course he didn't speak English very well and after driving us to the wrong hotel he finally seemed to understand what hotel we were talking about and turned us around and drove us (a little crazily) in the other direction and through a scary narrow tunnel at high speeds towards what we were hoping was our hotel. We eventually ended up, alive, at our rightful hotel, grabbed our bags, paid the man, checked in and hit the hay.
The next day, Saturday, we walked all around the Wharf and all throughout North Boston. Here are some pictures of our day...
Our hotel is the tall clock tower.
We saw these iron rods in Nauvoo.
They hold the bricks and houses together.
I thought it was cool to see them in Boston too
We walked all over Boston's north end following parts of the freedom trail.
This is Paul Revere's house. Pretty cool.
For dinner we went to Wagamama! The best place in the world, seriously.
We ate there when we were in London and when we saw that there was one in Boston we had to eat there. It was delicious!!!
Travis' spicy dish that I could seriously smell for three days after we ate there.
But it was soooo good!
