Mini vacation to Arizona

Wow, it's been a while since our last post! I am such a slacker! I have to go back and post all of the things that we have been up to since Christmas, which will take me quite a while. So I decided to start with something more recent and go back and add the other posts later.

This month we went to visit Travis' Uncles, Aunt and Mom and Dad in Arizona. We thought that it would be fun to stay at our villa in Phoenix but it was full so we exchanged it for the Four Seasons Condos which were AWESOME! It was pretty much exactly like our villa at the Marriott, we had 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and family room in the main suite, and 2 and 1/2 baths and a half kitchen in the studio. It felt so huge, we loved it when mom and dad Tucker stayed with us on the last day.

We had alot of fun visiting with Travis' family. One of his uncles lives in Thailand and was in town taking care of some business and it was great to meet him and get to know him, and we had not seen Travis' parents for about 5 months so it was good to see and chat with them.

The first day that we were in AZ we went over to Travis' Uncle Dave and Aunt Norma's house and just talked and visited and had dinner with them. Taylor Travis' brother was also there but he only stayed for dinner and then had to get back to work, but it was good to see him too.

The second day we all piled in the car and drove down to Casa Grande AZ to visit and dedicate Travis' Grandmother's grave. It was a lovely dedication and it was cool to see where Travis' grandparents lived and where his father grew up. Here are some pictures of Casa grande...

After the dedication we drove around Casa Grande

The Rock Church.
This is the church that Grandma and Grandpa Tucker attended.
It's soooo pretty, it looks like a post card.

On our last day we hung out by the pool all day and soaked up some sun and just relaxed. Travis' parents stayed with us on the last night in our condo and hung out by the pool with us. It was much needed R&R.

They had a cool water fountain in the pool.

Here are some scenic pictures of the landscapes around our condo.
A huge cactus that was right outside our front door.

On our last night there we roasted mashmellows
and made yummy smores.

We had a great mini trip and loved seeing and visiting with family!

Yeah we had a great time! We moved from the crazy apt. to a new place and it is alot quieter here and way more private. Also more families than the other place. We are liking it alot. How are you guys in OK. It's tornado season there??? I love your cute new puppy!

Did Taylor not come down?

Yeah, he came down for one day, actually an afternoon and then had dinner with us and then had to drive all the way back the same day to work that night. He wasn't there for too long.
